"The Hills", more than just a song

"The Hills" is a song that truly will transfer you into a new dark and mysterious world. It's a song by the Canadian singer The Weeknd from his second studio album, Beauty Behind the Madness. The song has two official remixes features rappers Eminem and Nicki Minaj. On their first track together, Nicki pulls a classic. Weeknd move and compares romantic love to drugs. Many of the Weeknd's songs reference drugs. "The Hills Have Eyes" is the title of a 1977 film about mutant cannibals that hunt a family after their car crashes. In the context of the song, the hills have eyes describes LA's celebrity-obessed culture. The introduction is in Amharic, the language spoken in Ethiopia. The translation is basically: "I love you, my beautiful, I love you, my love, love, love". Starboy (feat. Daft Punk)
Flow at its best

If someone deserves the title of the King of Rhythm from the contemporary R&B scene, the title would undisputedly go to the Weeknd. This statement is most true with Starboy, a blue-sky collaboration between the Weeknd and Daft Punk, where the "Starboy" flows on the group's instrumentals so smoothly to the point of synergy. The track sounds as if the Weeknd's vocal chords are bopping along to the beat. The lyrics also have that super confident feel to them, and it goes just perfectly with the smoothness of the flow. It also takes you into the typical Weeknd-ish ritzy vibes of money, glamor and sex appeal. Starboy is a perfect track to let play on your headphones as you walk alone down the street and just let your steps go with the beat. It sure does make you feel like you're the Starboy. P.S. At around minute 3, the track goes semi-a Cappella for a few seconds, and that's when the Daft Punk electrifying vibes hit you hardest.
