A Quick Round Up Of The Grammys 2023

The 65th Grammys went down on February 5, 2023, at the Crypto.com Arena in LA. It was a big night, especially for Beyoncé. She snagged four awards, bringing her total to 32 - the most ever. Her album "Renaissance" won Best Dance/Electronic Album, and her song "Cuff It" got Best R&B Song. She also won for "Plastic Off the Sofa" and "Break My Soul."

Harry Styles had a good night too. His album "Harry's House" won Album of the Year, and "As It Was" got Song of the Year. He seemed pretty shocked when he won.

Lizzo won Record of the Year for "About Damn Time." She was pretty funny in her speech, trying not to swear and dancing around.

Kendrick Lamar kept his Grammy streak going. He won Best Rap Performance for "The Heart Part 5" and Best Rap Album for "Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers."

In the country categories, Willie Nelson won for "Live Forever," and Carly Pearce got Best Country Album for "29: Written in Stone." Chris Stapleton's "You Should Probably Leave" won Best Country Song.

Viola Davis got a Grammy for her audiobook "Finding Me," which means she's now got an EGOT - that's pretty rare.

The performances were cool too. Bad Bunny opened the show with "El Apagón" and "Después de la Playa." There was a tribute to Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac. Sam Smith and Kim Petras did "Unholy" with a devil theme that got some people talking.

Other winners included Adele for "Easy On Me" and Samara Joy for Best New Artist. Bonnie Raitt's "Just Like That..." surprisingly won Song of the Year.

It was a long night with lots of awards and performances, but those were some of the highlights.
