This is a superb song that was both critically and commercially successful upon its release and deservedly so
"Blank Space," by singer / songwriter and performer Taylor Swift is the second single from her fifth album, 1989. It was written by herself, producer Max Martin and multi-instrumentalist Shellback. The track is produced in the electropop style, with Lorde seen as a possible musical influence.

The song is a mid-tempo ballad about relationships, with lyrics that reference Taylor's personal experiences and her reputation for failed relationships in the media. Starting with just a snare beat, the verse develops with Taylor using a short vocal melody, incorporating stacked vocals on certain words and phrases.

Over the same chord progression, she creates a chorus by developing the verse vocal melody, hitting her upper range with the line "Got a long list of lovers, they'll tell you I'm insane..." before wrapping it up; the music stops leaving just her vocal for the line "I'll write your name...". After a couple of repeat choruses it ends with the same sparse melody and snare beat that formed the intro.

Overall, this is a superb song that was both critically and commercially successful upon its release and deservedly so. With knowing, pithy lyrics and a classy vocal performance, Taylor proved she had made the transition from country to pop music with this track, along with the rest of her millions-selling 1989 album.

Flow at its best
If someone deserves the title of the King of Rhythm from the contemporary R&B scene, the title would undisputedly go to the Weeknd. This statement is most true with Starboy, a blue-sky collaboration between the Weeknd and Daft Punk, where the "Starboy" flows on the group's instrumentals so smoothly to the point of synergy.

The track sounds as if the Weeknd's vocal chords are bopping along to the beat. The lyrics also have that super confident feel to them, and it goes just perfectly with the smoothness of the flow. It also takes you into the typical Weeknd-ish ritzy vibes of money, glamor and sex appeal. Starboy is a perfect track to let play on your headphones as you walk alone down the street and just let your steps go with the beat. It sure does make you feel like you're the Starboy.

P.S. At around minute 3, the track goes semi-a Cappella for a few seconds, and that's when the Daft Punk electrifying vibes hit you hardest.

A really warm, sweet song that really makes you start your day in a good way...
A really warm, sweet song that really makes you start your day in a good way. I put it on every time I have a bad day, or every time I have start to feel stressful. The music really calms me, it has a gently rhythm based on classic guitar and piano.

This song can make you relax but it has a flowing rhythm so as to it doesn't let you sleep! It starts with a calm rhythm and slow vocals and continues with a faster rhythm and louder music - the recipe of success for me. But for me, the most important part of the song is its lyrics. If you slowly read the lyrics of the song, you will understand that it has meaning. It is not a song that wants us to cry from listening to it - it is a song for hope!

One republic sings "everything that kills me makes me feel alive" and for me it gives me all the power. The full meaning of the song is in this line. It's lyrics give me full of hope, a powerful message towards all of us. It talks about all the difficulties in our lives that we must overcome. These words in connection to the beautiful classical vocals of One Republic's singer makes it a perfect song for me! I really love listening to it !! Definitely a 10 star song for me!!!

Starting with just a snare beat, the intro is catchy, melodic and memorable
"Shape of you," by English singer/songwriter and performer Ed Sheeran, is one of the double lead singles from his third studio album "Divide" (2017). It is a dancehall-infused pop song with tuneful and original melodies.
Starting with just a snare beat, the intro is catchy, melodic and memorable. Ed Sheeran is popular with his thought-provoking and heart-warming songs. However, this track disappoints with its stereotypical pop song-like lyrics. But don't get me wrong! You will enjoy this song to the fullest. It's a great dance song. One of the most catchy phrases is "I'm in love with the shape of you, we push and pull like a magnet do." Melodically very memorable but perhaps really predictable and too simple. However, the beat is rhythmic and powerful giving the song this dance atmosphere that we expect from a hit pop song.

The music video was released on 30 January 2017 and was directed by Jason Koenig. As of July 2017, the music video has surpassed over 1.7 billion views on YouTube. The story revolves around a love story between him and a boxer fighter girl. "Shape of You" stayed at number-one on the singles charts of 35 different countries, developing great success.
Overall, it is a must listen song that was commercially successful upon its release. So, what are you waiting for? Just listen to it, you won't regret!

This song by Edward is the only song my boyfriend ever dedicated to me so it has always been a part of core memory for me.
Well, the shape of you did shaped my taste in music and honestly, dedicated to me by my boyfriend, this song is always going to be super close to my heart. Even after all these years, I am still totally in love with its energetic beat.It is super catchy and easy to groove to. It's all about meeting someone and liking them a lot. The beat makes you want to dance, and Ed's voice sounds smooth. The words are easy to understand and tell a story about falling for someone. Overall, it's a really fun song that's perfect for dancing with friends.

Remorse has never been so catchy.
Adele's voice on this track is capable of taking you into a dark tunnel of remorse and pain. It is rare for an artist to sing with such relatable passion to the point that no one listening to their track would not feel like these words touch something inside them. From the very first "hello" Adele utters as the track begins, you are taking into vivid imagery of her story of lost love and deep regret. The pitch of Adele's voice heightens around the chorus in a way that instantly sends shivers down your spine and pulls you deeper into her story. Usually songs that deep and dark do not have that catchy vibes given out by pop songs, and although "Hello" falls into the first category, it still manages to carve itself into your mind with the same power as the latter. I personally think this track will always be Adele's music career's masterpiece.

'Broken' is a Hard Hitting Track With Deep Lyricism to Spare
Little Simz ‘Broken’ serves as a to-the-point deep-cut of a track exploring mental health, poverty, and a broken societal system and industry.

A gospely chorus, slappy bass, a variety of strings, and a quick percussive drive fill the atmosphere of ‘Broken’ well. And they all serve as a proper backing for the bars Little Simz spits in this track. There’s a dreaminess built into this instrumentation and production that does well in promoting a thoughtful headspace. One that’s perfect for feeling the emotion that’s charged into the lyricism.

Speaking of which, this track has IT in terms of lyrics. They provide a deep exploration into mental health, societal and economic dissonance, and living in a world filled with racism, all while making cuts at the mistreatment from the music industry.

Early on, ‘Broken’ tells the tale of the CEO, who’s “probably got the most troubles that she'll never disclose.” But later on, it jumps into depicting a state of poverty while living with the capitalistic drive to produce more and do more. It explores the ideology of working till you’re dead, all while facing health issues due to stress that makes it even harder to rise up out of your situation. This clear depiction of the poverty trap finds a wonderful place in this track.

There’s so much more that goes into the lyricism of ‘Broken,’ and Little Simz has enough lyrical content to fill much of the about 7-and-a-half-minute track. That may seem long, but it feels a lot shorter a...

When Eminem declared his revolution against censorship.
When I first time I listened to this track, I think it was also the first time I remember listening to Eminem get that political. Marshall Mathers gets serious sometimes, but it is usually the personal type of seriousness where he tells stories about his childhood, his marital trouble and his problems with fans. This track was a blow at white middle-class America after its massive flood of attacks on Eminem for the explicitness of his content and pleads for stricter censorship of his music. Eminem refuses that censorship and reveals the hypocrisy and double standards that plague the same society that was never upset about other rappers because their fan bases were predominantly black but got angry about Eminem because he was able to bring rap to their very own backyards, creating irreversible influence among young white teenagers. The lyrics are pure genius and the anger in Eminem's voice was perfect for the message.
